Brook received her bachelor’s degree in human nutrition, her master’s in exercise science and a certificate in gerontology. Currently, she conducts research in the areas of lifestyle and disease prevention, cancer, and community-based studies. She has won several awards for her work in the area of nutrition, presented for multiple organizations and helped author various peer-reviewed articles. In addition to her research focus, Brook runs a program of cooking classes, which teach participants how to cook healthy easily. As a registered and licensed dietitian, she aimes to be a practical voice helping readers separate fact from fiction when it comes to diet, wellness, weight loss and healthy aging.
